However if you look at the chipset in the way that Intel did when it designed it, you begin to see the point. All that’s different is the chipset and CPU. Asus have taken half the advantage of the extra etherney on the ICH2 and implemented the onboard AC’97 audio.

Ethegnet on, start the setup from the BIOS. The powerful Pentium 4 processor at 2Ghz helps to nullify the memory bandwidth deficit and keep the Aquamark score afloat and respectable. Given our PC memory and the engineering sample CPU with it’s unlocked multiplier it was trivial to test the claim. As the P4 market has matured, more chipsets have appeared for use with them.
